Crossroads Missions

God is calling us beyond the borders of our community to serve others.  Starting with the initial talks to create the church this has been a core value.  Over the past few years this has manifest itself in several ways.

  1. A commitment to tithe 10% of the church’s income to missions.  Through this we support many diverse outreach organizations and missionaries.
  2. Building a home for a Family left homeless by Katrina.
  3. Weeklong trips to work with missionaries on the Texas-Mexican Border. Next Trip TBA- See Judi DeFiccio or Ken Long for details
  4. Other discreet projects within our community which meet the needs of our neighbors
  5. Finding ways for children, youth and adults to participate in real and meaningful ways including Missions Nights and other events.

God’s Word clearly tells us we are to share the Good News with all people.  As we serve people’s physical needs we also want to be a spiritual witness of holiness in Christ.

Some of the projects we are supporting:

  • Missionaries and projects of World Gospel Mission

  • The Juraimis Family serving in the Phillipines with New Tribes Missions

  • The Ashe Family serving in New Mexico - Bill and Amy's Myspace Page

  • Crossroads Missions, including a house build project on August 19th 2006 for a family who lost their home to Katrina

  • Housebuild Projects to provide safe and affordable housing for needy and deserving families

  • eLi, a Christian artist whose ministry includes programs and schools and prisons

  • Trips to support the work of Norris and Ruth Blair at an Acuna, Mexico orphanage
